Under the background of rapid development of new energy industry, recycling of used lithium batteries has become an important issue for sustainable development. In this article, we will introduce an automated pre-processing production line in detail, presenting the whole process technology path of recycling waste lithium batteries, and showing the green transformation from waste electric core to high-purity metal powder.
The production line adopts a modular design and contains four core systems:
Intelligent Crushing System
Waste battery cores enter the primary crushing unit through a closed conveyor belt, and are crushed efficiently with multi-stage tools. The system is equipped with a dust collection device and gas monitoring module to ensure the environmental safety of the crushing process.
Precision Pyrolysis System
Innovative stepwise temperature-controlled pyrolysis technology is adopted to achieve selective decomposition of organic components in a low-temperature environment. The system can effectively retain the valuable metals in the electrode materials, and at the same time convert the electrolyte, binder and other organic materials into recoverable oil and gas by-products.
Multi-stage sorting system
integrates advanced technologies such as physical sieving, eddy current sorting and high-voltage electrostatic separation to achieve high-precision separation of black powder (cathode material), copper foil, aluminium foil and other components. The purity of sorting can reach more than 98%, providing high-quality raw materials for subsequent wet metallurgy.
Environmental protection treatment system
is equipped with a three-stage exhaust gas treatment device, including cloth bag dust removal, alkali absorption and activated carbon adsorption unit, to ensure that the emission index is better than the national standard. Meanwhile, the production water is recycled to achieve the goal of zero wastewater discharge.
