In this process, Ecocycle Machinery makes use of the new technology of full-component partial recovery developed independently, and designs a set of recycling equipment covering the processes of sealed crushing, low-temperature volatilisation, comprehensive sorting, de-powdering, and medium-temperature pyrolysis.
After crushing the lithium batteries, it achieves efficient separation of materials such as diaphragm, pole piece, copper and aluminium in the batteries. Then it undergoes medium temperature pyrolysis to efficiently dissociate the high boiling point electrolyte and binders such as PVDF, and then it is cooled and de-powdered to make the battery powder come off more easily.

Battery powder, commonly known as black powder, contains lithium, cobalt, nickel and other metal elements – precisely the three most core raw materials of new energy power battery.
This technology, the recovery of battery powder purity and recovery rate of both to 98%, 3 percentage points higher than the traditional recycling method, but also to achieve the lithium battery in the copper, aluminium, electrolyte, battery powder and other materials such as separate recycling.

Meanwhile, this set of equipment adopts negative pressure purification, black powder collection, deep purification process and system to ensure that no secondary pollution. Through the simulation of multiple working conditions and flow field analysis, the amount of dust carried by the tail gas can be reduced by more than 50% compared with the traditional process.
